Before your fitting

Questions, answered.

A few practical details to help you arrive prepared and feel confident about the process.

How far in advance should I book bridal alterations?

Contact the atelier as early as possible, ideally several months before the wedding. Availability depends on the work required, the event date and the current fitting schedule.

What should I bring to my first fitting?

Bring the garment, the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear, any important accessories, and your confirmed event date. These details help Juliia assess proportion, hem length and construction accurately.

Can you create a dress completely from scratch?

Yes. Juliia is a professional pattern maker and garment constructor. A custom project can include the concept, an original pattern, a toile, fittings, construction and hand finishing.

How is the price determined?

Pricing is confirmed after a consultation or fitting, when the garment, construction, materials, timing and scope can be assessed. Any later design or scope changes are discussed before additional work begins.

How many fittings will I need?

The number varies by garment and project. A straightforward alteration may need fewer appointments, while bridal or custom work often requires several fittings. The expected plan is discussed after the first appointment.

Can I message in another language?

Yes. Send a Facebook message in the language you are most comfortable using. An automated translation workflow may assist the conversation, and important design, price and timing details are confirmed directly.
